A trained civil economist with a Master's in International Management from King's College London, she spent over 12 years in media and business development with NBC Universal, Discovery and National Geographic. Today she is an ICF-accredited Executive Leadership Coach, advisor and speaker. She hosts the Zanta podcast and co-founded Women of Color in Biz.
Rut "Ruthie" Semere is raised and based in Stockholm, with roots in the highlands of Eritrea. A trained civil economist with a Master's in International Management from King's College London, she spent a decade in London building a global career in media and business development. Across advertising, digital marketing, partnerships and sales, she worked with brands including NBC Universal, Discovery, National Geographic and ALMI.
Today she leads Semere & Co as an ICF-accredited Executive Leadership Coach, Business Developer and Speaker. Her work sits at the intersection of human development, leadership, business growth and financial wellness, helping individuals, entrepreneurs and organizations create change that starts on the inside and shows up in results.
Ruthie hosts the Zanta podcast and co-founded Women of Color in Biz, a global network for women of color in business.
